Matt and I are really good at doing one thing every week and that one thing is date night! We spend a ton of our free time together whether that be hanging out at home watching T.V. after a long work day or just running errands on the weekends. We love doing everything and nothing together! That said, we find that it’s really important to get dressed up and go out together. There is something really fun and special about exploring the city and trying a new restaurant. It’s our favorite part of the week :). Last weekend, we went to Waverly Inn for dinner and I wore this cute little outfit. It was super hot out so I wanted to wear as little as possible lol while still looking chic for date night. Dinner was delicious and we even had a celebrity sighting! We saw A-rod! Ha!

This skirt is on sale for 30% off on Banana Republic’s site. Sadly this top is an old crop top but I linked a few similar ones below. I hope you all are having a great week so far! The weekend is so close!

Happy Sunday everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and stayed cool in the crazy temperatures! Summer is by far my favorite season. Matt calls me crazy because I really don’t mind the heat and would much rather be hot than cold any day of the week! One reason I love summer so much is because it’s super easy to get dressed. When it’s super hot you obviously want to wear as little as possible, making dresses my number one go-to.

I found this adorable summer dress and loved the floral details coupled with the low back. I’m a sucker for a low back. I think a low back is sexy while staying classy, don’t you think ;)? The other thing that I loved was the fact that this dress is on sale for $36! It also comes in red!

I accessorized the look with a cheap pair of sunglasses I found at a street fair, this adorable straw boater hat I found at Nordstrom and a cute pair of H & M canvas sneakers. You could totally add a pair of wedges or heels to dress this up! I was just in the mood for a low-key outfit so I added sneakers.

I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend. Cheers to an awesome week ahead!

Have you ever put on a dress, or an outfit that is everything you ever wanted? When I found this dress, I simply couldn’t believe how perfect it was! The color, the style, the fabric, the fit. It’s just the perfect dress! I bought it before Matt and I went to Sunset Beach at Shelter Island for our anniversary. I wanted a statement dress that made me feel sexy and beautiful and I wanted to surprise Matt :).  I had been looking for the perfect dress and then I came across this one on Asos.com! It arrived, and it fit me like a glove. I didn’t have to tailor anything. To top it all off, it was $89! Needless to say, Matt was surprised and loved it.

I paired it with my classic nude Louboutins and a great gold earring by Vixity Jewlery. This dress is still stocked in all sizes on Asos.com and also comes in silver and in petite sizing! I will definitely be repurposing this dress for a wedding, or a formal event. It certainly is a wow-moment dress. Have you ever found a dress that made you feel amazing? Hi Everyone! How was your weekend? I hope it was awesome :). This weekend we stayed local and enjoyed the city. If you are NYC based, then you know it was about 9 million degrees this weekend haha. When it’s this hot, the last thing on my mind is making sure my outfit is still cute. I’m mostly just concerned about wearing the least amount of clothing as possible, and I don’t mean that in a suggestive way, LOL! Luckily a pair of denim cut offs and an off-the-shoulder top kept me cool and stylish. I added a cute pair of sunnies, which I found at a NYC street fair for $5 and a cute bow choker from Asos which is only $8!

I hope you guys like this casual weekend look. Cheers to a great week ahead!

Happy Friday everybody! I hope you all had a great week! We launched a big campaign at work this week and luckily the week flew by for me. I hope yours did too! I went out for happy hour the other day with the girls and wore this adorable Zara shift dress. It is part of Zara’a Semi-Annual sale, and guess what? It’s only $17.99!!! Haha it is almost comical how cheap it is. I paired it with a cinch belt and cognac mules to give the sheath dress shape. I also LOVE that the one-shoulder trend is coming back. I have a bunch of one-shoulder dresses from college that I held onto and now I can bring them back out again.

Do you guys have any fun weekend plans? Matt and I are laying low and staying in the city. I am heading to the pool this afternoon because the city is currently a steamy swampland. It is SO HOT!

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!

SUMMERTIME INSTAGRAM ROUND UP!

Hi Guys! It’s time for a Summer Instagram Round up! This summer is going by so fast! I honestly can’t believe it!  Matt and I have been traveling a lot and taking weekends to really enjoy the summer. We ended up staying in town over the weekend of the fourth. My brother was supposed to come visit but sadly his entire trip was cancelled due to weather. We still had a great time anyways and just enjoyed the city in all it’s quiet glory. I love Manhattan on holidays. No one is here! Take a look below at some of the looks I wore over the past two weeks!

Have you guys tried 305 Fitness? I just joined their unlimited program and to say I am obsessed is an understatement. The class is a cardio dance class with an actual DJ. It’s like going to the club when you work out!

Last weekend we went down to Spring Lake at the Jersey Shore with our friends Jill and Michael. They were so generous to invite us down for the weekend. The shore is a little more relaxed so I wore these amazing Tobi denim shorts pretty much every day haha!

The weather on Saturday was kind of overcast so we went to an awesome Beer Garden for the day. I actually bought this American Flag cardigan for the fourth of July but it didn’t arrive in time! Despite the fact that I didn’t have it on the fourth, I made up for it last weekend!

IRRESISTIBLE ME

I don’t know about you guys, but I have basically zero skills when it comes to hair and makeup. I can do one look with my makeup and then totally stink at doing my hair. I can blow dry it, and that’s about as crazy as it gets. I have naturally thin and fine hair, so trying to “do” my hair ends up being way more work than it’s worth. When Irresistible Me reached out offering to let me try their hair extensions, I was intrigued and to be honest a little skeptical. Little did I know that these extensions were literally about to change my life! Irresistable Me hair extensions are 100% Human Remy Clip-In Hair Extensions. I chose my color online from their database and was shocked how natural and perfect the color was. The cool thing about their delivery is that they offer a tester clip-in so you can test the color before committing to the purchase! Lucky for me, it worked on the first try! I am going to take you through the easy process of putting the extensions in and show you before and after photos! I can’t believe I am admitting my new secret to great hair, but now we can all be “Becky with the good hair” after I share this little secret!

Facetune (8)

All you need to put these extensions into your hair is a fine tooth comb with a pointy tip, hairspray and your extensions! I ordered the 18″ inch 140 grams option in the Silky Touch clip in extensions. I got the light brown color.

Facetune (10)

This is the before photo…thin, straight and boring! Haha! That pretty much sums up my hair. I am not complaining that my hair is naturally straight, but I would LOVE some natural volume!

Facetune (7)

These hair extensions are awesome because they come with 8 different tracks of hair. They are super easy to input. All you have to do is clip them in! I always start with the largest track on the middle of my scalp. I section my hair in half and place the extensions in.

Facetune (6)

Once the large track is placed, I just clip! Then I let my hair on top fall over it so it blends in.

Facetune (5)

Then I take another grouping of hair and pin that up to add tracks on the middle and sides of my scalp.

Facetune (4)

See how natural the extensions look so far!

Facetune (3)

Then I pull the rest of my hair over the extensions, and voila! Thick, full beautiful hair! It literally takes less than 5 minutes!

Facetune (11)

Facetune (9)

I highly recommend this product. I do not claim to be a beauty guru, AT ALL, so if I can master my hair with these extensions you can too! This weekend Irresistable Me is offering a 20-30% off sale so hurry on over and get your set!

I hope you all have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend!

xoxo-J
