Happy #humpday lovelies! Animal prints and fabrics are all the rage this season, and I have to say I am a huge fan of the trend. That said, you don’t have to wear real fur to rock it! Example 1: This amazing faux fur vest from Asos! So cute right? I also fell in love with this suede dress by Zara and couldn’t wait to style it. Personally, I am waiting for it to go on sale before I buy it, but this is my way of dreaming about how I will style it once it does :)!!! What do you guys think? ūüôā

This fall I have really gotten into skirts. All of my favorite retailers have been¬†coming out one after the other with amazing skirts! I absolutely HATE¬†being cold (I think it’s the southerner in me) so I have taken it upon myself to really take advantage of the cool (yet bearable) temperatures and to embrace “the skirt.” I have also fallen in love with the houndstooth¬†pattern this season and even rocked it here in this look. Finally, how cute is this mini bucket bag from Ann Taylor?! It is only $39 and 50% ¬†off the sale price so make sure to scoop it up! What do you guys think?

Happy Hump Day lovelies! We are half way through the week and that means it’s time for a new look to share with you all! If you follow me on Instagram you have seen that I am slightly obsessed with these Sam Edelman leopard booties. Don’t worry though if you aren’t a high heels lover-I added a similar pair in a lower heel :). This season is all about leopard and I love that it has become the new neutral! I wanted to create a look around these shoes and when I came across this Armani Exchange top I was inspired :)! A pop of purple with the leopard made this “rocker chic” look one of my faves!

What do you guys think? Leave a comment if you like it :)!

Happy Friday everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful week :).¬†It is officially jacket weather so I wanted to feature a look that I could pair with this amazing trench coat from Zara. I work with an incredible team, and most of the time I style all my looks. That said, I was stumped with this skirt and couldn’t decide how to style it. My incredibly talented friend and producer Nathan Cates pulled the look together. I would never have thought to pair blue with this skirt and I am thrilled with how awesome this blouse paired with the skirt! Sometimes you just need a new pair of eyes. Don’t be afraid to ask for styling advice from people around you. They can inspire you and make you see something you hadn’t seen before :). Thank you Nathan!!

Every season, and every day for that matter, it is so easy to get wrapped up in trends. I find myself wanting to buy EVERYTHING and I get overwhelmed because I clearly can’t afford to do that! That is why each changing season I do my best to have the essentials in my wardrobe when it comes to footwear. I let myself splurge once in a while on one-offs, but the essentials are there. I put together a list of my six must-have shoes for the fall season. What do you guys think? Did I miss any? ūüėČ

What did you do this weekend?? One of my favorite things to do in the fall is to hit up the local NYC farmers markets all over the city. I had a blast on the Upper West Side and decided to put my best flannel forward to check out the spread :). Also, these jeans are on major clearance at only $19!!! Head over to kohls.com to check them out!

#TGIF, am I right?! I was feeling boho chic today and decided to put together a look for my favorite L.A. friends :)! Lisa Q. this one’s for you! Fall and winter in¬†warmer climates can be tough because you want to dress for the changing season, but the weather doesn’t cooperate. That is why I loved this look. The shorts and top are super comfy and lightweight and paired with these suede boots, I was able to look fall forward and stay cool ;). Also, this necklace is slowly becoming my favorite purchase EVER. Sadly, I got it at the NYC Bauble Bar sample sale and it looks like they don’t sell it anymore, but make sure to check out their site for similar styles!

What do you guys think?!

For today’s post, I wanted to feature one of my go-to looks when I can’t decide what to wear. Denim on Denim is such a great go-to and can look classy despite the casual fabric of denim. I decided¬†to take it one step further and pair a denim skirt with booties and a slouchy sweater for fall. I also love that fringe is in this season and fell in love with this Aldo bag. All these pieces are great basics and can be mixed and matched with a ton of different looks. What do you guys think?

One of my favorite ways to dress for fall is to recycle pieces from my wardrobe from season to season. I bought this dress this past spring at Ann Taylor. It is one of those dresses that only really works in the transition of a¬†changing season. I loved the simplicity of this look and felt like it didn’t need much, just a great pair of boots and a bag. What do you guys think?

I know I have mentioned my obsession with fall multiple times on my blog, so I figured it would be awesome to share with my readers the essential items you should have in your closet when entering into this season! One of my favorite trends this season is the wool shawl. It is an awesome¬†layering piece and a great alternative to a coat when the weather is cool ¬†but not cool enough to justify a heavy coat. Another essential is a structured bag. I highly recommend investing in a nice structured bag. They look so chic and even if they are big in size, with structure they look fancy. TJ Maxx has some awesome options at amazing prices! The third essential for fall is a crisp white button down shirt. I just bought one¬†from Ann Taylor because they make tall sizing ūüėČ but I really wanted this tuxedo style shirt from WHBM as it is so chic. The fourth essential is OF COURSE a floppy wool hat. I have a few of these, one in black and one in navy. I am longing after this amazing burgundy one and I think I may have to break down and buy it! It is such a great accessory to top off your look; See what I did there ;). The fifth essential for fall is a pair of faux leather or coated black pants. I have a pair from Seven Jeans, which you can see me wearing in this instagram post¬†and I am obsessed with them. Finally, I highly recommend having a pair of comfortable and elegant heeled black boots. My Mom bought me an awesome pair of high heeled black boots for Christmas last year and I couldn’t get enough of them. I paired them with dresses, jeans, pants, you name it! These Charles by Charles David ones are such a great price and the heel isn’t too high.

Well, that sums up my fall essentials list. Feel free to take all of these items and wear them together :)!
