Hi guys and happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Matt and I were super busy this weekend and saw a lot of friends! It was really fun to catch up and be social. Then on Sunday we went to an Infant Care Class in NYC. It was a three hour course offered at City Births and I highly recommend it for all first time parents. Matt and I learned so much and found the teacher (Andrea) to be super informed and coming from a neutral place. This is important to me because I hate it when people have very set opinions on things. She was really open and honest about her personal experiences and was sure to mention how parenting babies is really on a case by case basis. How some soothing techniques work for certain babies and then not for others (just an example). She covered everything you can expect from the moment after birth, from the tests they do on your little one in the hospital to what you as the mother and father can expect physically and even emotionally. I’m super glad we went and I feel just a little more prepared! The classes were also very reasonably priced compared to the other locations I researched.

Anyways, on to this outfit! How cute is this striped dress from Lilac Clothing? I was so excited to receive a few of their pieces in the mail and couldn’t wait to share with you guys. This specific dress was a little on the short size on me with my bump so I decided to pair it over my favorite pair of maternity jeans. If you are under 5’8 you should be totally fine to wear this as a dress. To be honest, I could probably get away with the length without the jeans underneath but I’m a little more conservative ;). You guys should definitely check out the rest of their line. They have beautiful pieces!

Xoxo-J
