Happy Friday everybody! I hope you all had a great week! I am so looking forward for the weekend…this week went by at a snail’s pace!
Fall is upon us and I can finally wear jeans outside in NYC without feeling like I will pass out from the heat. This summer has been super hot, has it not? I had been on the lookout for a pair of “Mom Jeans” that aren’t super unflattering. My husband HATES this trend, but sometimes you just have to dress for yourself, you know what I mean?! I came across these jeans on Asos.com and knew they were perfect! I loved the distressing and the fit is on point. They are a little baggy but not too baggy so I don’t lose my shape. I think that is key when wearing this trend. Try and find a pair that doesn’t make you look like you are wearing a diaper haha! I decided to pair them with an oversized button down (which is actually a dress but obviously I could never wear this as a dress!) and my elegant Christian Louboutin heels. I thought the dressy heels gave the look a softer edge against the distressed denim. I hope you agree!
This weekend we are staying in town and getting some much needed errands done. I need to swap my summer wardrobe out for my fall/winter wardrobe which is a necessary but daunting task. Cheers to the weekend and to all of you who follow along!
