Dress: Lilac Clothing C/O Heels: Christian Louboutin Lipstick: Marc Jacobs  #238 Jacket: Blank NYC

Hi Guys! I hope you all had a great week! I have been so excited to share this beautiful floral dress by Lilac Clothing with all of you. Lilac Clothing reached out to me and sent a few beautiful pieces for me to try out. They have maternity and normal sizing and when I saw this dress it was love at first sight! The fit and pattern are just beautiful. Speaking of beautiful, how gorgeous are these cherry blossoms that bloomed in Madison Square Park?! This time of year can be tough weather wise, but the gorgeous flowers blooming make it all worth it!

Today marks my 26th week of pregnancy! I am 6 1/2 months along and baby girl is the size of a coconut. She is moving so much and I just love feeling her little hands and feet inside me. It’s really so surreal.

This weekend Matt and I are heading to Chicago for a birthday party. All I want is a chili cheese hot dog and milkshake ha! I hope you al have a great weekend!

Striped Dress: Lilac Clothing C/O Jeans: A.G Maternity Shoes: Steve Madden also available here Purse: Unavailable online, similar: Chloe

Hi guys and happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Matt and I were super busy this weekend and saw a lot of friends! It was really fun to catch up and be social. Then on Sunday we went to an Infant Care Class in NYC. It was a three hour course offered at City Births and I highly recommend it for all first time parents. Matt and I learned so much and found the teacher (Andrea) to be super informed and coming from a neutral place. This is important to me because I hate it when people have very set opinions on things. She was really open and honest about her personal experiences and was sure to mention how parenting babies is really on a case by case basis. How some soothing techniques work for certain babies and then not for others (just an example). She covered everything you can expect from the moment after birth, from the tests they do on your little one in the hospital to what you as the mother and father can expect physically and even emotionally. I’m super glad we went and I feel just a little more prepared! The classes were also very reasonably priced compared to the other locations I researched.

Anyways, on to this outfit! How cute is this striped dress from Lilac Clothing? I was so excited to receive a few of their pieces in the mail and couldn’t wait to share with you guys. This specific dress was a little on the short size on me with my bump so I decided to pair it over my favorite pair of maternity jeans. If you are under 5’8 you should be totally fine to wear this as a dress. To be honest, I could probably get away with the length without the jeans underneath but I’m a little more conservative ;). You guys should definitely check out the rest of their line. They have beautiful pieces!

Dress: Stowaway Collection C/O White Duster: Old, Similar Style here and here Heels: Christian Louboutin  Necklace: INC Concepts

Happy Good Friday everyone! Matt and I are currently en route to Newport, Rhode Island for our babymoon! I am so excited to get away and celebrate the two of us and this little angel girl!

Stowaway Collection reached out to me and asked if they could send me a few options from their maternity line! I love this blue dress and the little extra detail on the sides of it. It’s SUPER comfortable and I could totally dress it down with a jean jacket and sneakers. I decided to dress it up for an Easter look with nude pumps and an oversized white duster jacket. I figure I should get use of this white duster before baby arrives. I doubt I’ll be able to keep this thing clean after she gets here haha! Stowaway  launched in the fall of 2016 and was designed to take you from desk to dinner, dressed up or down easily. All their products are made in the USA and are stretchy, comfortable and more importantly flattering! SCORE! They have really great items and I recommend you check out the rest of the site for more of their collection!

On another note, today I am 6 months pregnant! WOW! I really can’t believe I am already here. It’s gone so fast! I figure I should do a big bumpdate for you guys to give you a little more insight as to how I’m doing so far!

How far along are you?

I am 6 months pregnant today, or 24 weeks along. Only 4ish months to go. Again, remember how I said you are really pregnant for 10 months…? Yea…

Due Date:

August 4th

What are your cravings?

My intense cravings have sort of gone away and I no longer have any real aversions to anything. That said, I am loving citrus. I try to have a piece of grapefruit every day because it tastes DELICIOUS to me!

Boy or Girl?

Baby Girl!

What size is the baby?

Baby girl is the size of a large Zucchini or eggplant and weighs around 1.3- 1.5 lbs. I actually went to the doctor a few weeks ago and she told me that she thinks I am going to have a big baby which of course royally freaked me out. She said that my weight gain is on target but that my belly looks bigger than my gestational age which leads her to believe baby girl will be big. Matt was an 11 pound baby so this information is terrifying. I just hope she is a reasonably sized big baby lol but I’ll take what God gives me!

How much weight have you gained?

This was an interesting question but I am not shy so I don’t mind letting you guys in on this! I have gained around 15 lbs so far which is right on target for my height and previous weight. It is weird to just constantly watch your weight increase but it’s supposed to!

How are you sleeping?

Still sleeping well. I have had to start sleeping with a stretch boot for the planter fasciitis that has come on from the pregnancy which is a little annoying. That said, nothing has kept me from getting shut eye thus far. I LOOOOOVE my sleep.

Have you felt the baby kick yet?

Yes! I feel her everyday. She is getting stronger and stronger. It is such a weird sensation and feels like an alien is inside of me haha!

What has been the hardest thing about your pregnancy thus far?

In the beginning it was my back pain and body changing so much but at this point I am just going to generalize and say ALL PHYSICAL PAIN. I have had back pain since month three and now I have been diagnosed with planter fasciitis in my heels so I have been feeling the physical pains from pregnancy pretty hard. I am unable to exercise which is fine, but it can be very frustrating at times. I have also been dealing with a lot of swelling in my feet and calves and just general discomfort. That said, I don’t want to sound ungrateful and I would literally do anything for this little girl inside me. I’ll do whatever it takes to bring her into this world but that doesn’t mean it’s easy!

What do you miss about before being pregnant?

Wine! HAHA! I have finally gotten to the place where I actually miss drinking. I think it’s the weather getting warmer and the idea of sitting outside with a glass of rose just sounds glorious. I’ll have to save the Rose for fall this year!

Thoughts, and extras

We just moved into our new apartment and I started to unpack things and set up the nursery for baby girl. I have hung up a few of her little onsies and it is just all becoming so much more real. I can’t believe we are going to have this little person in our home in the next 4 months!!! I just love her so much already. I can’t wait to meet her!

Maxi Dress: Ripe Maternity also available here Jean Jacket: Levi’s Booties: Sam Edelman Backpack: C. Wonder Similar: Henri Bendel

Hi Guys! It is the MOST beautiful day ever in NYC today which means it’s time to pull out the maxi dresses and jean jackets! I am such a summer girl that I stalk the weather app on my phone around this time to watch the temperatures go up. I am so excited to put away my coats and get a little sun on these pasty arms and legs!

Anyways, let’s talk about this outfit! It is always a tricky thing to transition into new seasons. I find that in the spring I am too hot with a coat, but too cold without one, so layering is key. I love layering under dresses, like I did in this post last year and I love the idea of a jean jacket. It is my go-to in between seasons as the weight is perfect. I also love the look of tying a jean jacket around your waist when you get too hot. Super cute! Another cute spring transition idea is to pair fall/winter booties with spring dresses during the transition. I have gotten so much wear out of these Steve Edelman booties. They are SO comfortable and currently are on sale for $70! I love them paired with this dress.

This weekend Matt and I are headed to Newport Rhode Island for our babymoon! I can’t wait to have some one on one time with my hunky baby daddy :). Also, make sure to check back on Friday for my 6 month bumpdate! A lot has changed since my last one! Phew!

Hi guys and happy Friday!! I hope you all have had a great week. I am currently sitting down with my legs propped up trying to deflate my feet after moving yesterday! Holy moly moving is exhausting, especially when you’re almost 6 months pregnant. The move went really well though and we are all moved in. Now the unpacking begins. I have the nesting bug BIG TIME and have been purging and getting organized to make room for baby. I swear I have gotten rid of 10 bags of clothing so far and I am ready to purge more. I think I just want to be as in control and organized with my things since I know once baby comes there is really not much I will be in control of ha!

Anyways, on to this outfit! When I was in NC visiting my Mom and sister a little over a month ago, my Mom treated me to a maternity shopping trip and got me this gorgeous Isabella Maternity blouse. It is one of the nicer pieces in my maternity wardrobe and I am absolutely obsessed with it! The fit is so spot on and flattering and the blue looks so pretty paired with all kinds of colors. I added my red J. Crew coat for a pop of color and my favorite H&M statement earrings. They are under $10! I paired the look with sneakers because I am all about comfort these days, but I think I’ll recycle this look with a cute pair of pumps for a dinner date. Super comfy and chic, don’t you think?

On to other news, today I am 23 weeks pregnant. I will be 6 months pregnant a week from today!!!! The time is starting to really fly by. Before you know it baby girl will make her debut! Stop back by in a week for my 6 month “bumpdate.” I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Hi Guys! Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a fantastic week! I am so excited that the weather has finally decided to take a turn towards spring so I can finally wear this Anorak jacket! It’s super versatile and will be a great staple in my wardrobe this spring.

Anyways, tomorrow is moving day and this week has been filled with packing, packing and more packing. It is unreal to me how much stuff we have collected over the years in our apartment. We have been purging and organizing and it feels so good to get things organized before baby arrives. I can’t wait to get into the new place and start getting baby girl’s nursery all set up!!

I hope you all have a great rest of your week!

Duster: Asos Same duster, different pattern here Jeans: Asos Similar: DL1961 Top: Isabella Oliver (I have in light blue and black…obsessed!) Booties: Zara (old) Similar: Sam Edelman Handbag: Monpurse (You can design your own!)

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. It was SO gorgeous yesterday in NYC and today is just as pretty. I think we have officially entered spring!!! Yahoo!

I decided to have some fun and mix up a few patterns for today’s look. I am a huge fan of leopard and consider the pattern a neutral. As you can tell, I have had a lot of fun styling these leopard booties all year long. I think I have posted them in multiple outfits! I linked to a similar pair that I am probably going to end up buying myself to replace these. They have certainly gotten worn in!

I took a basic jeans and t-shirt look and pumped it up a notch by adding a kimono duster and fun booties. I love taking a basic base of a look and making it bright, fun and colorful. I hope you guys agree!

In other news, I am over 5 1/2 months pregnant. I will be 23 weeks on Friday! I am thinking ill do another “bumpdate” around my 6 month date so keep the questions coming!
