Memorial Day weekend is behind us and the official start of summer has begun! This past weekend Matt and I went out to Long Island to spend some quality time with friends. We stayed at the most gorgeous home on the water in Babylon, NY and spent our days in bathing suits and jean cut offs. The weather was amazing! I also swear I ate 7 hot dogs haha!

Anyways, I found this adorable two piece set from Old Navy a few weeks back and couldn’t wait to bring it out for the start of summer. It’s so cute paired together or as separates-as seen in this Instagram post. You all know that I am all about a good sale, and Old Navy has extended their Memorial Day sale in-store!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Thank you to all those who have served!!

Happy Wednesday everybody!

I purchased this gorgeous two piece frock from Asos the moment I saw it on the site. I couldn’t get over the floral pattern and thought it would be PERFECT for summer. It’s a great pairing because you can wear it with sandals for a casual night out, or throw on a pair of heels and wear to a wedding or cocktail party. I also love how versatile the top is. You can pair it with a pair of high waisted jeans, a skirt or shorts! If you end up snagging this gorgeous outfit, be sure to get a tan slip underneath. It is a little see through ;).

I hope you have had a great week so far and are looking forward to the long weekend. I know I am! Matt and I are heading out to West Islip on Long Island to spend some time with our friends. They live in a gorgeous home right on the water with a boat! I am keeping my fingers crossed that the weather holds out!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all had a great Monday and an even better weekend. The last few weeks have been super crazy and I realized I hadn’t done an Instagram Roundup in quite some time! I had a lot of you asking about specific looks from my Instagram posts recently so I wanted to compile everything into one post so you can shop them. Also, for those of you who follow me on Instagram, I recommend that you sign up for Shopstyle. It is this really cool site where you can get details of my looks sent straight to your inbox by simply liking my post on Instagram! You can check out @shopstyle here.

If you already follow me on my Instagram account, then you know I was recently in the Bahamas on vacation :). As wonderful as vacation was, I had to come back to NY despite my attempts to stay forever! The weather was overcast and not bikini appropriate when I returned, of course so I threw on the look above. I have had this jumpsuit for a few years now. I got it on super sale at Express. In-between seasons I like to pair a tee underneath jumpsuits to extend the wear. I linked almost an identical option below!

This past weekend the weather was much nicer than normal and I was finally able to pull out this adorbale top from Old Navy! It even comes with a pair of matching shorts. I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to wear them! As an added bonus the top is literally $15 and the shorts are on sale for $13.97 with an extra 50% off at checkout. So that makes them a little over $7 people. SEVEN dollars!

Moving on from my most recent looks, I thought I’d revisit some of my favorite looks from my trip! I wore this cute outfit bopping around in downtown Nassau. These shorts are great for ladies with long legs as the inseam is a bit longer than most.

On the last night of our trip, Matt and I snuck away from the group and did a little date night at Nobu at the Atlantis. I wore this form fitting dress by Michael Stars. It was def a hit with the hubbs ;)!

As much as I love bathing suits, I usually have a tough time with whole pieces due to my extra long torso. That was until I discovered this adorable tall once piece from Asos. Asos has such a great selection of tall clothing at a great price point. This suit is only $33!

This romper was probably my favorite outfit from my entire trip. I loved the color, the fit and especially the price tag! It’s under $100!

To wrap up this post, I’m sharing one of my favorite pictures from our trip. I just love how blue everything is! I also loved this coverup because it is cute enough to wear as a dress.

I hope you guys enjoyed this round up! Again, thank you all so much for your support! I love you guys!

Big shoutout to my girl Jill Weiner for taking these photos. Thank you for being my personal photographer on vacation haha! Love you!

One of the biggest trends for summer is the uber flattering off-the-shoulder or “cold shoulder” trend. I love this trend because it’s super flattering and sexy while still lady like, which is right up my alley. In the summer when it gets super hot, I love to just throw on a dress because it’s easy and I don’t have to think too much about my outfit. I found this beautiful Wayf floral long sleeve dress at Dillards and fell in love! I loved the floral accents and the fact that it had straps as well as off the shoulder accents. I wore my straps tucked in but it’s just as cute with the straps on! I paired this dress with my new favorite wedges which are available at Nordstrom Rack for $64!! They were one of two pairs of heels I brought with me on vacation, and I wore this pair literally with every outfit. They are super comfortable and cute.

I hope you all are having a great week so far!

Shout out to Erin Reese for taking these photos! You are clearly a natural!

Happy Sunday everyone! I just got back to NYC after a gorgeous and magical week spent in the Bahamas! We stayed in a beautiful home called Shangri La in Cable Beach about 15 minutes from downtown Nassau. We had a private chef named Perry that cooked us breakfast, lunch and dinner! It was so amazing and I HATED to leave! That said, I was excited to get back to NY to get back to blogging! I missed it :).

In preparation for my trip, I may or may not have bought an entire new wardrobe haha. This Wayf coral dress was one of my favorite purchases. I have recently discovered this brand from nordstrom.com and bought a few things from their line. I will be featuring a few other adorable items from them soon. The quality is awesome not to mention the great price. This dress is under $100! I needed a great belt to accentuate my waist and I found this awesome Asos belt for under $20! I wanted a cognac colored belt and I loved how this one has it’s own looping buckle. So cute! Finally to complete the look, I added a pair of Vince Camuto mules. Lucky for you guys, these are on super sale right now at only $69.95!

I hope you all had a great week. As much as I miss the beach, I have to say I am happy to be home in beautiful New York City.

Happy Sunday!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you incredible Mamas out there! On this very special day,  I wanted to take a moment to celebrate my very own Mom, Ms. Laurie Sue.

When I was a little girl, all I ever wanted to do was live in New York City. I had big dreams and would always beg my Mom to take me to visit. On my 13th birthday, my wish came true and we made our way up to New York City. I remember the moment we arrived at our hotel in Times Square. I got out of the taxi cab and was completely blown away by the flashing lights and signs all around me. It took my breath away, and I looked at my Mom with a huge smile on my face and told her “I am going to live here one day.” She didn’t look at me like I was nuts, or that my wish was too big to come true. Instead, she smiled right back at me and took in the big city sights for herself.

Fast forward to Fifteen years later. Today, I live in New York City and I work in Times Square. My crazy childish dreams have actually come true.

As I look back on on my life and the choices I have made, my Mother has been the constant that has attributed to my dreams coming true. No dream I ever had was too big. She always believed in me and was my biggest fan. I have my Mother to thank for supporting me in every endeavor. I truly wouldn’t be here without you Mom.

I hope your Mother’s Day is as special as you are!

Your Jessibelle

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far. I am thinking of starting a #workwearwednesday post a few times a month. Would that be something you guys would be interested in? If so, please let me know in the comments below :)!

Workwear can be challenging for a number of reasons. It can limit the amount of options you are working with depending on your workplace dress code. In my office, there really isn’t a set dress code. That said, I always try and look put-together and professional. Sometimes when I have meetings, I try and “Jess it up” 😉 which is what I tried to do in this look. Some may think leather isn’t appropriate for the office, but when paired in a classy way it can still look work appropriate.

The items I am wearing in this look are old pieces, but I have found such versatility in each piece. You can really never go wrong with investing in a leather skirt or a beautiful timeless purse, link my Henri Bendel bag. Check out the links below for some similar pieces, including this awesome Olivia Burton Watch!
