Hi Guys! I wanted to take a moment to talk about buying rompers for your height. I do my best to buy “tall” sizing when I can, especially when it comes to rompers since I have such a long torso. If I am buying a size that is not a tall size, one of the things I try and do is take a look at the stats of the model in the photos. Most of the time, retailers offer model stats next to the item descriptions so you can tell how tall they are. This is super helpful! The model modeling this romper was 5’11 so I knew I was in the clear! Anyways, just a small tip! It is a little short, so if you are shorter than me it will most definitely still work for you!

When I came across this adorable off-the-shoulder romper I just knew I had to try it out. If you follow my blog consistently you will have noticed that I’ve ordered a bunch of new things from The best thing about Asos is that you can can get free two day shipping for only $19 a year. Clearly I have gotten my money’s worth! I can’t wait to wear this romper for the 4th of July next week. My brother is coming to town and I can’t wait! Do you guys have any fun plans?

I hope you all have a fantastic week!

TGIF! Am I right?! Ok, so you might have noticed I got a new pair of shoes and to say I am obsessed would be quite the understatement! I don’t know about you guys, but as much as I am a bargain shopper through and through I most definitely have major respect for a classic pair of designer shoes. I have always lusted after a pair of red bottomed shoes by the incredible Christian Louboutin and had been saving up for a while to buy them. Then my sweet hubby surprised me with a pair for our first wedding anniversary! Needless to say he nailed the gift!

I decided to pair my new shoes with this adorable polka dot dress from Loft. They are having a great sale right now and everything is 40% off with code JUICY making this cute little number only $45! Just note that this dress runs a little big, so I sized down to an XS when I normally wear a small or size 4. I actually purchased it in store in regular sizing, but it does come in petite, regular and tall sizing.

I hope you all are having a beautiful day. Cheers to a fabulous weekend!

Matt and I just got back from a weekend away celebrating our first wedding anniversary! Our anniversary is actually tomorrow but we got a head start on celebrating over the weekend. We had such a great time on Shelter Island staying at the Sunset Beach Hotel!  So much fun was had in fact, that the moment we got back to the city I was in my P.J.’s and on the couch. I have never been a big P.J.’s gal and almost always steal Matt’s sweats which he hates by the way ha! I came across the adorable pajama sets by Joe Boxer and fell in love! This set is so comfy and cute and under $20! If you need me, I will be lounging on our couch in this cute set of Pajamas for the rest of the evening!

It’s true when they say NYC is one of the best cities in the world. Just LOOK at this view! Would you ever think you could visit New York City and experience this kind of view? There is so much to explore and to see on the isle of Manhattan. If any of you guys ever come to visit, please let me know! I’d love to recommend some places :)!

This spring and summer season has been all about the cold shoulder, off the shoulder and bardot trends. If you follow my blog, you probably already know that I have been a huge fan of this trend! I came across this top and fell in love with the sweet and classy neckline. I am a big fan of navy and white stripes for summer. Weird, but I swear I gravitate towards nautically inspired clothing! Maybe it’s all the summers I spent in Maine :).

This top is short in the torso, not a true crop top but enough that you need a higher waste to rock with it. I paired it with my fave high-waisted denim skirt, which you can see me wearing here (the second blog post I wrote…how crazy!?) ! I know it’s expensive but I wear it ALL the time and it was definitely worth the investment.

I hope you guys have a great weekend!

Hi Lovelies! I hope you are all having a great day! This past weekend, Matt and I traveled to Boston for a friend’s wedding. Matt grew up in the suburbs of Boston so I always love to visit since he knows all the ins and outs of the city. On Friday night we went to a Red Sox game and then Saturday before the wedding he took me to Mike’s Pastry in Little Italy. I had the BEST cannoli I’ve ever eaten. If you are ever in the area you must go!

Anyways, now on to this dress :)! I came across this dress when I was just browsing the Asos site. I saw it and knew immediately that I had to have it! I also couldn’t believe it was under $100! When choosing what to wear to a wedding there are a few things that I always make sure to consider. I always pay close attention the dress code which is a good place to start. Then I consider the venue, and finally the time of year and the weather. The dress code was cocktail attire and this dress was just perfect for the weather! I can’t tell you how many compliments I got on this dress. Lucky for you guys, it is available in tall, regular and petite sizing.

Here’s to a fabulous week ahead!
