This past weekend, Matt and I had the pleasure of visiting my Nana and Bumpa down in St. Mary’s, Georgia. In case you were wondering who Bumpa is, he is my Grandfather!! I couldn’t say “Grandpa” when I was little but somehow came up with “Bumpa” and it stuck :)! Anyways, it was wonderful to get out of chilly NYC and into some warm weather, not to mention spending some much needed quality time with Nana and Bumps. We had a blast just relaxing in the heat and taking a little time to log off from social media and the rest of the world. Now we are back in NY and it’s back to the grind so I wanted to share with you guys what I wore, and some tips of what to do if you are ever in the area!

When traveling I like to be comfortable, but also look nice. You never know who you will bump into! The rapper 50 Cent was on our flight home for goodness sake!! Every season, I always buy a fresh new pair of white canvas sneakers. That said, I refuse to spend more than $30 on them since I buy them so often. I always go to H & M to stock up on mine! These are so cute, comfy and perfect for traveling! I also love them paired with my black and white striped dress later on in this post. They are super versatile and cheap; A total score in my book! I threw on my favorite and most comfortable pair of jeans along with a light weight navy sweater and my new favorite white duster coat from White House Black Market. Scoop these pieces up while you can as they are all on sale!! I linked my whole outfit plus my luggage below!

Nana and I!!

We arrived in Jacksonville Friday morning and drove to St. Mary’s which is only about 25 minutes from the airport. My grandparents live on a gorgeous golf community called Osprey Cove and I couldn’t get over how green and lush everything was! It was so nice to hear the birds chirping as opossed to the sirens of 6th avenue. Anyways, my husband Matt and Bumpa went golfing for the day while Nana and I jumped back in the car and drove to St. Simon’s Island off the coast of Georgia. We had a beautiful lunch at Echo restaurant at the King and Prince Resort. It was absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious. It was only an hour away and I highly recommend taking a detour if in the area!

The rest of the weekend was filled with shopping and bopping and enjoying the nice weather. We ended up having Easter dinner at home with Nana and Bumpa so I ended up barefoot for most of the evening lol, but I wanted to showcase these amazing heels that I bought for the weekend on the blog. They are SO comfortable and now currently on sale for $40 less than I paid for them grrr.

On the last day of our trip, I wore this awesome new slip dress from Asos. I just recently discovered that Asos has tall sizing and I got to shopping haha! I also found this amazing white duster coat from White House Black Market and I am OBSESSED. It is so gorgeous and the perfect topper for spring and summer. It immediately elevates any look!! Hi lovelies! With spring ALMOST in full effect, I am featuring an item that is an absolute MUST HAVE for spring dressing. The weather can be unpredictable so having a chic topper is an awesome way to stay warm and stylish in the transition to spring and summer! The most versatile spring topper is of course a trench coat! I wore this look on the weekend running errands. I threw on jeans and sneakers and this awesome White House Black Market tee that I got on sale for under $50! I plan on styling it with a number of different looks. I can’t wait to shoot them for you guys!

We are almost to the weekend my lovelies! As always, thanks for stopping by. Shop the look in the links below!

Hi Lovelies! As always, thank you so much for stopping by! Did you have a good weekend? We were outside of Philly this weekend visiting our adorable nephews. We are back in NY and this snow is really upsetting me. It’s the first day of spring for goodness sake!

Anyways, enough about the weather! As most of you know, I love a good sale, which is why when I saw these flare jeans at Express in the corner of a sale rack…I immediately scooped them up. I love the light wash and distressing on the knee. Sadly, they don’t have these exact jeans available anymore but I linked out the exact same fit and flare style below in the same wash without distressing below. I liked the idea of pairing these distressed jeans with a very pulled together and classic topper, so I threw on a turtleneck and oversized vest. I finished the look with  these leopard booties that are on sale. This look is perfect for that in between weather we have upon us in NY. The kind of weather where you don’t really need a coat, but a light vest topper will do the trick!

Cheers to a great week!

Spring is one of my favorite seasons, but also one of the most challenging seasons to dress for. The chill in the air is just enough to require a jacket, but not one that’s too heavy…and so on and so forth. I do my best to get creative when dressing during the spring. A great option to keep you warm, but not too warm, are over the knee boots. It’s also a great time in the year to purchase them since they are all on sale. I got this pair of Chinese Laundry over the knee boots for under $100! The leather or suede on your legs keeps you warm in the spring (and fall!) chill while elevating any skirt or dress. I also love to pair over the knee boots with jeans to really elongate my legs…which now that I think of it seems silly since my legs are already 3457394857 feet long ha! Sorry, I digress.  This dress is an old style, but you can rent it from Rent the Runway for under $100. The bag is also old but I linked out a similar bag below.

Sorry I look like I am about to fly away in this post…the wind was crazy when we were shooting!!

If you follow along on my blog and my Instagram account, you are probably aware that I have a slight shoe addiction. My husband would be proud of me for at least admitting that…it’s the first step right ;)? I love sneakers, heels, flats, mules, wedges…you name it I love SHOES haha! That said, this past season I have started a love affair with Adidas Sneakers. They are so fun because you can dress them up or down and the best part is the price! Both of these pairs are under $100! I love this navy blue and light pink pair. I got them this past weekend and I can’t wait to show you guys how I will style them :). I also love them paired with this adorable light pink Rebecca Minkoff bag. It is the perfect combination of sporty and sweet.

I linked out all the items in these photos below! Happy shopping!

Those of you who know me personally know that my love for Celine Dion runs deep haha. I may be her biggest fan…seriously. So naturally I had to purchase this t-shirt no questions asked. A colleague of mine saw someone wearing it and came back to work to tell me this shirt existed and I ran a google search, found it and bought it! Thanks Morgan :)! It was so beautiful this weekend so all I needed was a light leather jacket. This one is from Schott Leather but I linked a more affordable option below. I finished the look with these awesome Nike wedge sneakers and my favorite A.G. Jeans. They are a little pricey, but the best fitting jeans EVER. I think definitely worth the investment!

I hope you all had a great weekend and cheers a great week ahead!

The most recent street style photos from fashion week have been filled with women rocking the “culotte” and despite what my husband and my mother may think, I am a fan ;). That said, I didnt want to pay-up for them because who knows how long this trend may stay “in.” I decided to go on a mission to find a great pair at a great price and and how lucky did I get with these! I literally bought them at JC Penney for under $30. I kept it simple with suede boots and a slouchy cowl-neck sweater. I am excited to style these all spring and summer long. What do you guys think of this trend? If you like it, them make sure to scoop up these denim culottes!

Hey Lovelies! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend :). If you haven’t already noticed, my wardrobe is filled with variations of items in the black, white and grey family. I find that my wardrobe is easier to mix and match with having the most items in this color family. What can I say? I am a basics kind of gal ;). That said, having only basic colors can get a bit boring which is why I gravitated towards this awesome Waverly Grey coat. Yes, it’s black and white, but how awesome is this plaid pattern? It is also on sale right now which is even better news! I paired the coat with an oversized sweatshirt, button-down and my favorite Asos leggings for a casual and comfy look for running errands. As for the accessories, my new obsession is a chic backpack. It is the most convenient yet fashionable option when running around town. My backpack is actually from C. Wonder, which is sadly out of business, but I linked out almost an identical option below! I topped off the look with a grey beanie and a 90’s inspired choker!

I hope you enjoyed this look and all have a great week!

Hi Guys! I am re-posting this look from last fall because this amazing Material Girl jumpsuit is on sale for $39.99. It is such a great jumpsuit and I love pairing it with a tuxedo blazer. I sort of wear it as a cape for a more classic and updated look. It’s the perfect date night outfit. I wear it all year long and just update the shoes depending on the season! It also works for women with long torsos! I am such a fan of jumpsuits and I love that this one has a little edge to it. What do you guys think? 🙂

I can’t believe it’s Friday already! What are you guys doing this weekend? Share your plans in the comments below :)!
