I wanted to share a few photos from my NYC baby shower thrown by my Mom and sister. They outdid themselves and threw me the most gorgeous shower of my dreams. It was intimate with incredibly thoughtful touches. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

Dress: Asos Comes in multiple colors! Here it is in black, light blue, light blue (tall) and green! I have this dress in the light blue and pink. It is my favorite maternity neckline and style and only $35!!

The shower was thrown at Maysville in Flatiron right down the street from our apartment. They have a beautiful and intimate back room perfect for small parties and events. How beautiful is the tablescape? My Mom did all the floral arrangements herself! She is so talented!

The food was SO GOOD I can’t even get over it. Maysville printed these beautiful menus and the favors were sent to me by my sister in law Lisa. They were so beautiful and such a wonderful takeaway.

Custom cake by Empire Cakes! It was just as good as it was beautiful!

My sister and I 🙂 My best friend! My Mommy 🙂 ! I hope to have a relationship with my daughter like we share!

Thank you Shadi for capturing these moments!! I love you!

My baby daddy stopped by at the end!! My baby shower was the most beautiful celebration and I can’t thank my Mom and sister enough for all of their hard work and love.

Dress: Ripe Maternity Earrings: Charming Charlie Handbag: Gucci  Shoes: Asos

Hi Guys! I hope you’re having a great beginning of the week. I can’t believe the fourth of July is next week. Where has the summer gone?! I wore this dress to dinner for Matt and my 2nd wedding anniversary last week. I thought the pattern was really fun and different and the fit was really flattering and comfy. I’m all about comfort these days! I paired it with fun statement earrings from Charming Charlie’s (only $10) and these Asos sandals. Note that the sandals are NOT featured in these photos because my feet are currently ENORMOUS and I am embarrassed to show you guys haha! I ordered these flats for my baby shower and had to take them to our local shoe repair store to have the straps extended! My swollen feet are no joke people!!

This Friday I am officially 35 weeks pregnant. I can’t believe I am basically a little over a month away from meeting my daughter. Let’s just pray that my feet don’t grow anymore or else I’ll have to walk around barefoot!

I can’t believe we have less than six weeks to go before we meet our daughter. It is all starting to hit me that she will be in my arms in the blink of an eye. I wanted to document “the bump” as a reminder to myself what a physical feat pregnancy is. Shadi, thank you for capturing these raw moments. This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done but I know it will be the most rewarding. We love you baby girl and we can’t wait to meet you.

Today is our two year wedding anniversary!! I honestly can not believe it’s already been two years. The last few years have been the best years of my life and spending them with Matt has been the reason why. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in life. He is my best friend on planet earth and I honestly can’t say enough about how happy he makes me. Once I met him I felt complete, and I just love him so much! I wanted to share a few images from our wedding day. These are such precious memories and I love looking back on the day we became one forever.

Dress: Asos tall regular size version here  Shoes: Birkenstocks Sunglasses: Banana Republic similar here Earrings: H&M

HI Everyone! I hope your week has been going well so far. This week has been the HOTTEST week of all time. It felt like I was walking on the surface of the sun the last two days so I was soooo happy when the heat broke today and I could deflate a bit. I have recently had to accept that normal shoes no longer fit me. I have been struggling with pregnancy swelling and my poor feet have taken the brunt of the pain! The only shoes that currently fit me are one pair of sneakers and this white pair of Birkenstocks. As a fashion blogger and a female this is quite sad lol. Despite this, I am doing my best to get creative and put together cute looks that can pair well with my two shoe options!

I found this dress and thought it was so super cute. I also loved the price tag coming in at only $45. I know I have been sharing a ton of Asos looks lately, but their maternity options fit me the best and at this point in my pregnancy I just want to feel good. I don’t physically feel that great so I do my best to put myself together and that makes me feel better. Do any of you other preggo ladies do the same thing?

I have 7 weeks left of my pregnancy and tomorrow baby girl is the size of a pineapple! Pretty crazy right?!

Dress: Asos Maternity (only $40!!) Shoes: Thalia (currently 30% off!)

Deciding what to wear to a wedding always gives me a little anxiety, so imagine the stress level I was at trying to find something to wear to a wedding in Croatia at 8 months pregnant! Stress level 100!!! I ordered what felt like a bajillion (is that a number??) options and nothing worked. The attire was formal so I knew I wanted to wear something long and dressy but I wanted to make sure I was comfortable. I also needed to make sure I could wear flats because there was no way these swollen feet were getting squeezed into a heel! I ordered this Asos Maternity dress on a whim never expecting it to work and was floored when it did! It ended up being the absolute perfect option for the wedding and only cost me $40! Pretty awesome right?!

I hope you all have a great week!

Dress: Asos Maternity (tall) available in regular here Also comes in black and emerald  (A steal at under $40!) Earrings: H&M ($13!!)

Hi Everyone and happy Friday!! Matt I got back from our trip on Tuesday night. It was an incredible vacation and I am so happy we went. I have to say I was a little nervous being so pregnant and traveling but despite the swelling, I was totally fine. Our trip was amazing and it was really special to go away with Matt before baby girl comes. It was kind of a love fest and truly was so special for us. It was good to sort of get away and just be “us” for a few weeks you know what I mean? Anyways, if you followed along on my Instagram and my video stories you saw all the incredible places we went. We were in Sweden first visiting my Dad’s side of the family and then we headed to Dubrovnik, Croatia for a wedding. Matt and I tacked on a couple extra days in Croatia just to relax and chill. What a magical place! These photos were taken at a private villa the couple rented the day after their wedding. The venue and views were unreal. I felt like I was in a movie set! I wore this beautiful dress from Asos and I was so comfortable and felt like it totally fit in with the venue and location. The best part was it was only $40! I will say it is a little see through so I bought maternity spanks to wear underneath.

Anyways, today I am officially 8 months pregnant so I thought I would do another bumpdate!!

How far along are you?

32 weeks! Officially 8 months pregnant!

Due Date:

August 4th

What are your cravings?

I don’t really have any specific cravings, but when I was in Sweden I had a Kanelbulle like three times a day and I swear they have never tasted so good haha! Kanelbulle are a Swedish specialty. They are like a cinnamon role but they are made with cardamum and aren’t as sweet. Just thinking about them right now I am salivating!! I will say I have started to get REALLY hungry now. I am trying to enjoy the last 8 weeks of this pregnancy and eat what I want. I of course am trying to be healthy but if I want a bagel I’m having a bagel hah!

Boy or Girl?

Baby Girl!

What size is the baby?

Baby girl is the size of a winter squash! She is around 17 inches long and weighs around 4 lbs.

How much weight have you gained?

31 lbs so far!

How are you sleeping?

I am still sleeping well but starting to need a lot of support under my belly at night. Thank the lord for my amazing snoogle. If you are pregnant you need this!! I have started to get REALLY tired again though. I have been struggling to stay awake past 9:30 p.m.

Are you feeling the baby kick?

Yep! Baby girl loves to move around inside my belly. Her kicks are getting stronger which is so surreal. It really feels like you have an alien inside your belly ha! I have also started to notice she reacts to certain songs. She really likes the new Despacito song. I play it in the mornings and she kicks around. So cute!

What has been the hardest thing about your pregnancy thus far?

The physical part. The most recent development has been my feet swelling. It started right before our trip. I can’t fit into any of my shoes anymore!! I can wear birkenstocks and a few pairs of sneakers and that’s it! My Mom says she had the same issue and my Dr. says it’s very normal. It’s just so annoying. I also can no longer wear my wedding rings which I hate :(. I also have been suffering from rib pain. My Dr. says it’s because the baby is big and pushing all my organs around. Oh well, only two more months to go!!

What do you miss about before being pregnant?

I miss being comfortable. At this point I am just very uncomfortable all the time.

Thoughts, and extras

I can’t believe my pregnancy is so close to being over. I have a feeling the last 8 weeks are going to drag on though since we are so excited to meet baby girl!
