This look was from my very first shoot for the blog. I remember how excited I was when my husband bought this for me on my honeymoon and I just knew I had to shoot it as one of my firsts posts.
This look is probably my favorite blog post ever! I remember I had just started the blog the week before and I posted this photo and got like 100 likes on my picture…which was crazy at the time since I only had like 200 followers haha!
This was a really fun shoot…the weather was starting to change and I was loving styling outfits for the changing climates. I took a summer dress and added a pair of boots to it for a transitional fall look. My Mom bought me this sheath dress at Mango when she came to visit in NYC. I love styling this dress :). Thanks Mom!
This is the best example on the blog as to how to go from downtown to uptown-all I changed were the shoes! My photographer Brandon had just moved to the upper west side and we shot all day in the location. This was on his front stoop :). I just love this skirt because it is so versatile!
This look was my first “workwear” inspired outfit. Basic but with a pop of leopard…the new neutral ;)!
This outfit was such a blast to shoot. We went into a farmer’s market and asked if we could use the corn as a prop. They said yes, and we couldn’t stop laughing ha!
This look was inspired by fall in L.A. I loved pairing the shorts and boots together for another transitional look.
This skirt was a tough option to shoot because I couldn’t decide how to style it. My friend Nathan came up with the idea to pair it with this blue top and it totally worked. I love how it came together.
You can never go wrong with sunshine and purple :).
I loved shooting this look…I had won these booties in a contest on Instagram and I decided to pair them with a really lady like and girly look. I was also shooting this with Vixity Jewelry and thought the necklace really pulled it all together.
This was my Thanksgiving/Holiday look. How amazing were the leaves in the background?! Madison Square Park has become my new favorite place to shoot!
All black everything is my new uniform. It is so easy to throw on when you don’t know what to wear! I paired this look with the Way Fair sunglasses and then brought out my inner “boss” haha!
Boyfriend jeans and a black tee…you can’t go wrong-although my husband may disagree ;)! He hates boyfriend jeans! Oh well, I cant please everyone ha!
These last two looks are the best looks from my year. My wedding day was the best day of my life where I got to wear the most beautiful dress I’d ever seen. These women are my style icons and inspirations. My beautiful Mother, Nana and Sister. Thank you for inspiring me always and giving me the courage to start my blog!
Well I hope you all have enjoyed this round up of my favorite looks from this year. I can’t tell you how special it has been to be able to start this blog. Your support has been amazing and I can’t say thank you enough. I also want to thank Jay for all his help in making this blog possible. Without him, this site wouldn’t exist. I also want to thank Brandon for capturing each look with ease…he makes me look good! I wish you all health and happiness! Happy New Year!
